HOMEMADE FACE MASKS FOR WINTER

Before that, I didn’t like winter at all. Whenever winter came, my skin got dry and looked awfully. My skin is extremely sensitive, so I just apply industrial skincare products in limit. Then I searched for and used herbal to ‘rescue’ my skin from dryness. I tried homemade face masks for winter, and my skin got recovered. I’m not worried about winter any longer. And you don’t need to worry about your skin situation this winter either.
Here are some of homemade face masks for winter that you can try for providing nutrients, minerals and moisture to your skin.
1. Banana and honey
Being one of homemade face masks for winter, banana and honey are suitable for oily skin most. With me, I often add some lemon juice for this face mask.
How to make banana and honey face mask? It’s extremely simple.
- 1 small ripe banana
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice (optional)
- Smash banana and mix it with honey;
- And / or add some lemon juice (optional, as I mentioned above);
- Apply the paste on your face, relax yourself in 15 – 20 minutes;
- Clean your face with warm water, then cold water to minimize the pores.
Effect: Banana and honey face mask is supportive to have smooth, pink rosy and soft skin.
2. Avocado and olive oil (or honey)
This face mask is most suitable to dry skin. You can replace olive oil with honey, if you want.
- Half of an avocado
- 3 or 4 teaspoons of olive oil
- Mix all of the above materials together;
- Cover the paste on your face for 15 – 20 minutes;
- Use warm water to wash your face first, and one more time with cold water.
Effect: This face mask helps to provide vitamins, minerals, antioxidant and moisture to your skin during winter season
Have you ever tried beer for skincare? I have. It’s really one of the effective homemade face masks for winter that you can do at home.
For this mask, you will require:
- 2 tablespoons of beer
- Olive oil: 2 teaspoons
- Honey: 2 teaspoons
- Mix all of those materials in a clean saucepan;
- Boil them, then keep the fire low until they become thick;
- Turn off the fire, wait for the paste being cool;
- Cover your face in 20 – 30 minutes;
- Wash face with cold water.
Effect: Increase skin elasticity, and remove dirt and oil inside pores.
4. Yolk and honey
Being one of the easiest homemade face masks for winter, yolk a
nd honey will also work on your skin situation during winter.
- 1 yolk;
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- Mix yolk and honey properly in a clean small bowl;
- Massage your face with the paste of yolk and honey within 5 minutes;
- Stay relaxed in 15 – 20 minutes;
- Clean your face with warm water.
Effect: Provide moisture and nutrition to skin. People with normal skin and dry skin can apply this homemade winter face mask for a gorgeous and younger look.
Homemade face masks for winter – wonderful and safe remedy
If your skin is getting dry right now, you can try one of the above homemade face masks for winter. To be more effective, a face massage before covering the masks is helpful. Additionally, you should always clean your face and hands carefully before the masks. And, remove dead skin at least once a week. Or you can have face sauna every two weeks to maximize effectiveness of masks.
