How to prepare homemade banana face masks for skin. Banana is not only good for health, but also beneficial to skin and hair. Banana is rich in vitamins, minerals and high content of magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc, folic acid and tryptophan. Today, I’m going to share you with some homemade banana face masks for skin. It’s quite easy to make banana face masks for skin at home.

1. Banana face masks for skin, anti-aging and pore tightening

Method 1:banana-With-Honey

To prepare this face mask, you’ll need the following materials:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons of honey

You can find those materials easily near your place. Banana contains moisture, vitamins and potassium which support in glowing skin. Honey is rich in vitamins and antibacterial properties which help effectively in acne treatment and prevention.

How to apply the mask:

  • Mash banana in a clean bowl.
  • Mix honey and banana.
  • Apply the paste all over your face, stay relaxed in 20 – 30 minutes.
  • Clean your face with lukewarm water.
  • Continue with skin care routine before sleep.

Effect: This combination of banana and honey will promote glowing skin and anti-aging. Also, it helps to tighten pores. Your skin will look younger and glorious.

Method 2:

Beside above method, you can also try another way as following:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice (optional)

Similar to method 1, you also mix all the materials together in a small clean bowl. After that, cover the paste on your face and keep it in 20 – 30 minutes. Wash your face with warm water. You can use this banana face mask maximum 3 times a week.

Effect: High content of vitamins and lactic acid in mixture will help to dissolve dead skin, tighten pores and reduce wrinkles. Additionally, this face mask also helps to reduce clogged pores.

2. Banana face masks for skin, remove blackheads

Banana is also helpful to remove blackheads, and antioxidants contained in banana will promote fresh skin.

Require: Banana-honey-and-Lemon-Juice-Mask

  • ½ ripe banana
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice

Prepare and apply:

  • Mash banana, then mix it with honey and lemon juice.
  • Cover the mixture on acne area.
  • Wash your face after 20 – 30 minutes with cool water.

3. Banana face masks for skin, acne treatment and prevention

This face mask contains antibacterial properties and makes skin soft, smooth, and minimizes pores as well as reduce acne.


  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoons of oat flour
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh milk

Prepare and apply:

  • Mix mashed banana with oat powder and fresh milk.
  • Cover the paste on whole face in 15 – 20 minutes.
  • Clean your face with warm water.
  • Apply the mask two to three times a week.

4. Banana face masks for skin, to have rosy white skin

Thanks to vitamin E, C and antioxidants in the mixture, your skin will become rosy white and smoother.

Method 1:


  • 1/2 ripe mashed banana
  • 1 yolk
  • 1 or 2 teaspoons of olive oil

Prepare and apply:

  • Whisk the yolk until it is foamy, mix all of above materials in a small bowl.
  • Apply the mixture to your face and neck.
  • Keep it in 15 – 20 minutes for absorbing all nutrients and minerals in skin.
  • Wash face with cool water, pat your skin gently until it gets dry.

Method 2:


  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 teaspoons of honey

Honey and banana will nourish, renew skin cells and provide moisture to make skin softer, smoother and glowing.

Prepare and apply:

  • Mash banana and mix it with honey.
  • Cover the paste on face. While applying it, you can gently massage your face in 5 minutes for well-absorption.
  • Use warm water to wash face after 15 – 20 minutes.

5. Banana face masks for skin, moisturizing


  • ½ ripe banana
  • ½ avocado

Face mask made from banana and avocado will provide mildness and moisture to skin. Avocado helps skin become softer and smoother while banana nourish your skin.

Prepare and apply:

  • Mash and mix both of banana and avocado.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of yogurt, 1 teaspoon of olive oil or 1 vitamin E capsule to the mixture. This is optional, you can add those materials to banana and avocado if you want.
  • Apply the paste on face and keep it in 20 – 30 minutes until it gets dry.
  • Wash face with warm water.

In case, you are facing with acne, avoid avocado but replace it with yogurt and honey.
