Those nutrients are known as antioxidants. They are supportive to protect cell structures in the body from free radicals and prevent colon (colorectal) cancer, prostate, breast, endometrial and pancreatic cancer. The antioxidants are considered as the body’s guard and they will neutralize the free radicals. Free radicals are unstable particles and can react with other molecules to cause a chain reaction of damage which may lead to infection, diseases and even cancer.
In order to prevent colorectal cancer, we can have enough antioxidants to neutralize any free radicals which are harmful and associated with the development of cancer.
